New Delhi

Arrived safely, and a little early in Delhi. We had an early start, as the hotel had in Dubai was hosting the ‘Iron Man’ (and ‘Iron Woman’ it seems) contest, and they’d closed roads. Β Of course, we left an hour earlier than previously booked, and breezed through to the airport 😌

So whatever you might say, Dubai airport works for me. Check in works, security works, it’s a long way, but they have monorail and walkways so that’s ok. Β Flight left on time, and Emirates were very good again. Β Apart from having to take a bus to the plane (which we both gate), the flight was good, and we both caught up on sleep (well at least a bit anyway), shorter than I imagined at 2hrs 20-odd minutes.

There’s a one and a half hour time difference from Dubai to Delhi (yeah, half an hour – that’s a gas huh ?πŸ€”

To be fair, we got through Delhi airport fairly quickly, and were soon in the car. Β Then you get to enjoy the traffic chaos that is Delhi – anything seems to go πŸš–πŸš²πŸš˜πŸšπŸšœπŸš‘πŸš™πŸš—πŸš˜πŸšπŸš”πŸš—πŸš•πŸš™ and of course πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸπŸπŸπŸ.

Cattle wandering around

Ok, so I won’t be stooping here

Checked in fine at hotel. Β I don’t want to jinx it, but these transport arrangements have worked well so far (fingers crossed).
